The project involved designing a complete visual identity for Dar Al Qamar, including:

  • Logo and typography inspired by Arabic calligraphy and cultural motifs.

  • A warm and appetizing color palette reflecting the flavors and heritage of Egyptian cuisine.

  • Packaging, menu design, signage, and digital assets for social media.

The brand identity balances traditional Egyptian elements with modern design sensibilities, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for customers. Every touchpoint was crafted to make the restaurant instantly recognizable, culturally rich, and visually appealing.

Solution :

The solution was a culturally inspired yet modern brand identity that communicates authenticity, warmth, and quality:

  • Logo & Typography: Arabic-inspired custom typography combined with modern clean lines for readability and elegance.

  • Color Palette: Warm earthy tones, golden accents, and rich reds to evoke flavor, tradition, and appetite.

  • Visual Elements: Cultural motifs and subtle Egyptian patterns incorporated in menus, packaging, and social media assets.

  • Brand Guidelines: Ensured consistent application of the visual language across all physical and digital touchpoints.

The final identity positions Dar Al Qamar as a culturally authentic, modern, and inviting destination for diners seeking traditional Egyptian cuisine in Saudi Arabia.

Challenge :

The main challenge for Capo Café was creating a brand that feels bold, powerful, and inspired by mafia aesthetics — without falling into clichés or losing modern appeal. The goal was to balance Italian vintage charm with a clean, contemporary look that speaks to young customers. Capo needed an identity that instantly communicates confidence and authority, while still feeling welcoming, stylish, and premium. Achieving this balance required a visual system that is dark but elegant, strong but refined, and unique enough to stand out in a crowded café market.
